Our commitments have been defined on the basis of the results of socio-environmental studies. We are dedicated to aligning these commitments with the various local and regional development frameworks to ensure synergy and integration.We consider the principles of sustainable development in all our achievements and impact management actions, with the involvement of all our stakeholders.
Encouraging our employees to work responsibly is an integral part of our way of doing things. We build relationships of trust with our stakeholders, based on respect for regulations, dialogue and transparency.

Social
Creating essential values for a positive, sustainable and mutually beneficial impact is one of our priorities. We go beyond our energy mission to actively contribute to improving the living conditions of local communities. We place particular emphasis on education and health, women’s empowerment and initiatives to strengthen community cohesion and development.


Environmental
We are aware of the issues involved in the installation of various infrastructures. We are deeply committed to respecting international standards for environmental preservation. Every stage in the construction of the hydroelectric dam is planned to minimize its ecological impact and ensure the continuity of the site’s ecosystem services.


Economic
We are committed to promoting economic development in the areas where we operate. By creating jobs and supporting local activities, we help stimulate sustainable economic growth for the benefit of present and future generations.

Governance
We are convinced that the success of an investment project is also based on the application of standards and best practices of integrity and ethical behavior in all aspects of its business dealings with stakeholders.
We have put in place tools to ensure the effective management of our activities. We have also lent our support to promoting good governance among our stakeholders.

Transparency
We regularly organize meetings and information sessions with our stakeholders: national and regional authorities, local authorities, national and international partners, the media, communities and the diaspora.
We produce materials to reach all our stakeholders. We have set up a grievance management tool aligned with IFC requirements to collect and process any complaints related to our project. Its operationalization is being developed with stakeholders.

Code of ethics
We have a formal ethical code that applies to all our employees in the performance of their duties, setting out rigorous rules of conduct in line with our values and best practices.

Control
We apply control procedures through audits carried out by external firms who examine operational compliance in finance and accounting.
We apply the remote filing systems set up by the National Tax Office, which reduce potential tax errors and fraud. We comply with this standardized working method.
